up! Radio Websites

UI Design // Web Development

Website design for two radio stations, up! 97.7 FM in Calgary and up! 99.3 FM in Edmonton.

I designed these sites to look like a three dimensional shelf highlighting the primary content of the website, all secondary content falls below the shelf.

]]> Don’t Hit Kids https://saltedliquorice.com/portfolio/dont-hit-kids/ Mon, 19 Dec 2011 17:34:10 +0000 http://saltedliquorice.com/?post_type=portfolio&p=864 This poster is from my 3D typography series.

A humorous piece that I strived to achieve a real sense of grittiness with.

]]> Pigeon vs Statue https://saltedliquorice.com/portfolio/pigeon-vs-statue/ Mon, 19 Dec 2011 17:32:18 +0000 http://saltedliquorice.com/?post_type=portfolio&p=862 A poster design from my 3D typography series.

I really like how the light rays are displaced by the raised structure of the text.

]]> Street League https://saltedliquorice.com/portfolio/street-league/ Mon, 19 Dec 2011 17:31:27 +0000 http://saltedliquorice.com/?post_type=portfolio&p=860 A fun little homage to Street League Skateboarding.

Stylized concrete text with a focus on texture and lighting.

]]> Fish in the Water https://saltedliquorice.com/portfolio/fish-in-the-water/ Thu, 24 Nov 2011 17:24:58 +0000 http://saltedliquorice.com/?post_type=portfolio&p=850 A self initiated piece in my 3D Typographic Poster series.

I thought it would be fun to see how readable white text on a white background could be, just totally reliant on shadows.

]]> Big Man https://saltedliquorice.com/portfolio/big-man/ Mon, 21 Nov 2011 17:23:46 +0000 http://saltedliquorice.com/?post_type=portfolio&p=848 A fun self motivated typographic poster based on a humorous saying.

It’s the first in a series of 3D Typographic Artworks I’ve created.

]]> DeLaval Paint Can Label https://saltedliquorice.com/portfolio/delaval-paint-can-label/ Sun, 20 Nov 2011 16:38:02 +0000 http://saltedliquorice.com/?post_type=portfolio&p=835 I designed two paint can labels for DeLaval for their Milking Parlor product range.

I designed it all in Illustrator but then created this product view using Carrara Pro.
